From the International Storytelling Network (RIC), we bring you this invitation to join us in the celebration Stories to Change the World, 21 June 2012.
With this proposal we invite and call on storytellers, spontaneous tellers, librarians, teachers, parents, grandparents, young people, and all those with an interest in doing so, to tell stories that day in different public places and private venues: schools, libraries, schools, homes family, plazas, parks, cultural centers, theaters.
Last year there were more than 180 storytelling activities in 30 countries on five continents. We hope this year will be even bigger, and we hope stories help us build a better world. With these actions we will multiply the effect of this celebration we look for, telling stories to create a new reality, and begin to feel that we are building a better world through words and stories.
Please, spread the news to your networks, friends, students and followers.
The bilingual website for this celebration will be www.historiasparacambiarelmundo.com
